Ultra High Pressure Cleaning
Ultra high pressure water jetting is the use of pressures above 25,000 PSI to clean asphalt, concrete, and metal surfaces for the purpose of repair and reapplication of coatings.
The process can been used to remove membranes, elastomerics, paint, rubber, mastics, and paint. Typical applications include metal surfaces, highways, runways, and parking structures.
Because of the extremely volatile nature of the ultra high pressure stream, preplanning/scheduling; containment; environmental health and safety; and familiarity with and maintenance of equipment are all critical and must be addressed. All of these items are part of the CUI project process and culture. Coatings Unlimited can also assist in the the development of specifications, schedules, and safety programs for ultra high pressure applications.
